Sharmila Behera

Dr Sharmila Behera completed her Bachelors’ degree in dental surgery in the year 1991 from SCB Dental Wing, Utkal University. She is among one of the first female dentist in the state of Odisha. She then went on to carry out her own private practise, following which she joined Vinayaka Mission’s Lord Jagannath Institute of Dental Sciences and Research as lecturer for seven years. To quench her thirst for knowledge, madam then joined Kalinga Institute of Medical Sciences (KIMS) in the year 2004. Later in 2006, madam joined Kalinga Institute of Dental Sciences (KIDS) and is one of the founding faculty members of our prestigious institution. She also has attended various state level and national level conferences. She also is one of the committee members in Women’s Dental Conference held in Odisha. She has carried out various dental treatment camps in the state. Ma’am is currently working as a lecturer in Oral Medicine and Radiology.
