Kalinga Institute of Dental Sciences organized an Oral Health Awareness and Screening Camp for the retired officials of Bhubaneswar City, at the retired officials club, Bhubaneswar. A team of Post-Graduate Trainees and House Surgeons attended the camp under the supervision of the NSS Programme officer of KIDS, Dr. Dhirendra Kumar Singh, where  More than 100 retired grade 1 officials of Bhubaneswar City were screened for different oral diseases. Following the philosophy of the “Art of Giving” initiated by our Founder, Dr. Achyuta Samanta, on the occasion of National Dentist Day, a free dental treatment camp was conducted in association with SAKHA-Garima Greh  at MSM Transgender community, Kargil Basti, Aerodome area, Bhubaneswar organised by the Department of Public Health Dentistry, Kalinga Institute of Dental Sciences, KIIT Deemed to be University under the supervision of Dr.Gunjan Kumar , Dr.Alok Kumar Sethi , Dr.Arpita Singh (Phd Scholar) and postgraduates. Dental extractions, restorations and oral prophylaxis were carried out in the mobile dental van followed by the distribution of toothpastes among the transgenders  sponsored by Dabur [...]
