Following the philosophy of the “Art of Giving” initiated by our Founder, Dr. Achyuta Samanta, the NSS wing of Kalinga Institute of Dental Sciences, KIIT Deemed to be University, organized an Oral Health Awareness and Screening Camp at Adruta Children Home, Chandaka Bhubaneswar.
A team of Post-Graduate Trainees and House Surgeons attended the camp under the supervision of NSS Programme officer, KIDS, Dr. Dhirendra Kumar Singh & Dr. Arpita Singh, Ph.D. Scholar, KIDS, More than 120 children were screened for different oral diseases. They were imparted education on oral health & hygiene maintenance and were also counseled for routine healthy diet, the team also distributed free study materials to orphan children.
