Abinash mohapatra

Dr. Abinash Mohapatra did his undergraduation from S B Patil Dental College and Hospital, Bidar, Karnataka in the year 1999. Subsequently, he started his private practice actively in his home town (Bhubaneswar). Though he was tasting success, he could feel the need of specialised training in certain fields which could address the problems faced by that strata of the society particularly for Specially Abled Children Needs. He then pursued specialisation in the subject of Pediatric and Preventive Dentistry from the prestigious Bapuji Dental Dental College & Hospital, Davangere, Karnataka in the year 2003. There he got himself well trained in the intricate complicacies and ramifications of Sedation dentistry, Behavioural Management, Modifications/ Shaping and treating paediatric and patients with special care needs, along with other allied subjects. The training so received took him to another level of patient care and management. He joined as a Professor in Kalinga Institute of Dental Sciences to render the training received to impart both education and surgical expertise to the Pediatric patient population attending the prestigious Institute of Eminence i.e., the KIIT University. Along the journey, he has also taken keen interest in publishing various scientific literature with an inquisitive mind. He now actively teaches the Undergraduate and Post Graduate students while also attending the hospital based patient population. His motto “A good teacher can inspire hope, ignite the imagination and install a love of learning”, contended with the job satisfaction along with what he loves the most, “Teachers have three loves: love of learning, love of learners and the love of bonding the first two loves for betterment of society”.
