A Day of Clinical Excellence: Full Arch Immediate Loading Program Concluded Successfully
The Department of Prosthodontics and Crown & Bridge, Kalinga Institute of Dental Sciences (KIDS), KIIT Deemed to be University, Bhubaneswar, successfully hosted a landmark educational event — Full Arch Immediate Loading: A Lecture and Live Demo Program — on Saturday, June 20, 2026, at the KIDS Auditorium. Conducted in association with the IDA Temple City Bhubaneswar Branch and powered by DENTIS, the program brought together interns, postgraduate students, and faculty members for a day of immersive, hands-on learning in the field of implant dentistry.
AN ENRICHING EXPERIENCE FOR ALL PARTICIPANTS
The program, which ran from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, was designed to offer participants a rare combination of scientific depth and real-time clinical exposure. Carrying 6 CDE (Continuing Dental Education) Points, it drew enthusiastic participation from interns, PG students, and faculty members eager to expand their clinical knowledge and skills.
The day’s proceedings were thoughtfully structured to balance theory with practice. An opening lecture on Full Arch Immediate Loading set the scientific foundation for the morning, followed by the formal inauguration ceremony. The most eagerly anticipated segment of the programme — a live Full-Arch Implant Surgery — held attendees in rapt attention as participants witnessed the precision and complexity of full-arch implant procedures in real time.
The afternoon continued with a focused lecture on Full Arch Implant Occlusion, followed by a second live demonstration of Full Arch Immediate Loading, giving participants the rare opportunity to observe the complete clinical workflow from surgery through to prosthetic delivery. The event concluded with a Closing Ceremony at 5:00 PM.
Participants described the program as one of the most clinically relevant and practically enriching educational events they had attended, with the live surgical demonstrations earning particular appreciation for the clarity and skill with which they were conducted.
