DENTAL AUDITORIUM

The KIDS Dental Auditorium is fully air-conditioned and is tiered with row upon row of seats for around 300 people. It has state-of-the-art infrastructure, a big stage, LCD Projector, power back-up, superior acoustics and latest technology for sound effects, required to conduct institutional and departmental programmes such as CDE, Seminars, Workshop and Conferences. The auditorium is also a good platform for all kinds of music, dance and theatre displays.

KIIT CONVENTION CENTRE COMPLEX

KIIT provides excellent ambience for national and international level conferences and seminars. Its Central Convention Centre Complex houses a world-class fully air-conditioned Auditorium having a seating capacity of 1600, besides a Guest House with 5-star facilities (42 suits), Conference Halls (18 Nos.), Exhibition Ground (5 acre) and Banquet Hall. It is the largest of its type in the state of Odisha and one of the best in Eastern India.

Banking & ATM Facility

In-campus banking & ATM facilities for the students of KIDS are provided by Oriental Bank of Commerce.

Infrastructure

Kalinga Institute of Dental Sciences (KIDS) is housed in a magnificent and spacious three storied building and has the infrastructure as prescribed by the norms laid down by Dental Council of India (DCI). The college provides a robust infrastructure to support its multi-discipline character including technical facilities for various subjects taught and also various amenities to ensure a congenial atmosphere for learning.

The Nine Dental departments each having separate reception area, clinical section, individual faculty rooms, seminar room, store, sterilization room, and well-equipped pre-clinical and clinical laboratories are designed taking into consideration the individual department’s requirement guidelines.

KIDS have a very spacious, well-aerated and resourceful library containing large volumes of textbooks, reference books and National and International journals for the benefit of staffs and students.

The college has Six well laid out smart AC Lecture Theatres with a capacity of 120 each. The LTs are designed as per international standard and teaching is imparted with the help of most sophisticated teaching aids.

To facilitate organization of CDE programmes, Conferences and functions, KIDS has a well-furnished air conditioned Dental Auditorium in the third floor of the college building that can accommodate over 300 people.

The Administrative Block located on the ground floor houses the Principal’s and Administrative Officer’s chambers, HR and Accounts department, Conference room and Meeting Hall which are esthetically designed and furnished to give a fascinating look.

In the hospital sector, KIDS have become a pioneer in oral health care by bringing to the people State-of-the-Art facility and unprecedented range of advanced and modern equipments, thus providing the best dental care in the state of Odisha.

DINING

KIDS hostel have attached canteen that serves good quality vegetarian and non-vegetarian food.

KIIT also has a Central Canteen and 15 Food Courts serving delicious multi-cuisine food.

Health Safety & Wellness

Along with a State-of-the-art Dental college & Hospital, medical facility within the same campus is provided by a 1650 bed super speciality hospital attached to the Medical College Kalinga Institute of Medical Sciences (KIMS), a KIIT constituent, which provides free medical consultancy to its students. All diagnostic services and medical and dental treatment are provided to the students at a very affordable cost.

Internet and Wifi Services

KIIT is at the forefront to adopt latest IT technologies to support learning and teaching. High Speed Internet Service (1180Mbps) is provided to KIDS by NKN, Bharti Airtel and BSNL through dedicated optical fibre cable. All the major students’ areas, including the hostel rooms and libraries are provided Wi-Fi access through a secure wireless network

KIDS Hall of Residence

There are separate hostels for boys and girls within the college campus. The hostels are the places where students look forward to be in after the day’s work at the college.
