The key to good general health is good oral health. Managing everyday tasks, particularly self-care, can be difficult for people with developmental impairments such autism, cerebral palsy, Down syndrome, and others. Achieving and maintaining good health, including oral health, may require additional assistance for those with certain limitations. Patients who are physically impaired and mentally retarded are more prone to caries and periodontal diseases owing to their inadequate oral hygiene habits. Their food, eating habits, medicines, limitations in physical activity, and poor cleaning habits all lead to poor oral health.

This Oral health screening camp benefitted them with free consultations and good oral health care tips was provided to their guardians.
