NSS unit, Kalinga Institute of Dental Sciences, Bhubaneswar has collaborated with the HMV Driver Training Institute, Chhatia. Following the philosophy of the “Art of Giving” initiated by our Founder, Prof. Dr. Achyuta Samanta, a free dental screening and treatment camp was organized on 28.04.2024, as per the regular dental checkup camps to be conducted at the driver training institute.
Basic dental treatments like scaling and restorations were carried out among 247 screened patients in the mobile dental van and some of them were referred to the tertiary institute for further complex treatment procedures. Free medications were distributed to the patients.
