Following the philosophy of the “Art of Giving” initiated by our Founder, Prof. Dr. Achyuta Samanta, under his leadership, a Mega Health Check-up camp was organised by the NSS unit of Kalinga Institute of Medical Sciences, Bhubaneswar at Biripata High School, Jajpur on 3.11.2024. It was a wonderful privilege to conduct the camp in the presence of our Founder, Dr. Achyuta Samanta. Under the leadership of our Founder, Prof. Dr. Achyuta Samanta, following his philosophy the “Art of Giving A free dental checkup camp was organized for the Security Guards. The NSS Unit , Kalinga Institute of Dental Sciences, Bhubaneswar conducted the camp  on 5.11.2024.  the screening and treatment procedures were carried out. Out of the 147 patients assessed, 48 reported to the Department of Public Health Dentistry for the free treatment procedures. Following the philosophy of the “Art of Giving” initiated by our Founder, Prof. Dr. Achyuta Samanta, under his leadership, a Mega Health Check-up camp was organised by NSS unit Kalinga Institute of Dental Sciences, Bhubaneswar at Dharmasala Mahotshava Ground, Jaraka, Jajpur district on 28.09.2024. The screened patients were mostly diagnosed with chronic generalized periodontitis and grossly decayed teeth. These diagnoses highlight the widespread prevalence of periodontal disease and untreated dental caries in the community, likely exacerbated by inadequate oral hygiene practices and limited access to regular dental care. The NSS unit of  Kalinga Institute of Dental Sciences, Bhubaneswar has collaborated with the HMV Driver Training Institute, Chhatia. Following the philosophy of the “Art of Giving” initiated by our Founder, Prof. Dr. Achyuta Samanta, a free dental screening and treatment camp was organized on 29.08.2024, as per the regular dental checkup camps to be conducted at the driver training institute. The children screened were mostly diagnosed with dental caries including early childhood caries (ECC), chronic generalised gingivitis, grossly decayed teeth.
